Bal is a national Kyrgyz beverage made from honey and spices. Bal is served hot.

Honey is effective in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, visceral (kidney, liver, etc.), cardiovascular diseases, etc.

Ingredients:

Bee honey has a soothing effect on the skin, eliminating dryness and peeling, improving skin tone.

  • 100 g honey.
  • 0,25 g black pepper.
  • 0,25 g bay leaf.
  • 5 g ginger.
  • 25 g cloves.
  • 1 l water.
  • 20 g cloves.

Method:

  • The drink is made from Ball divorced water and fermented honey. Leaven – barley or rye malt with hops. The starter is added proraschёnnye grains of millet or wheat.
  • The water is brought to a boil, put the ginger, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, bay leaf, then remove from heat, cover with a lid and allowed to stand for 5-10 minutes, add honey, stir and filter. Serve hot.
  • A similar drink distributed in kitchen Mari Mordovians, Russian, Tatars and others.
