Lamb in its own juice is a great source of easily digestible protein. It is rich in trace elements (iron, manganese, sulfur), as well as macro-elements (potassium, magnesium, phosphorus). Lamb meat is rich in vitamins (K, PP, A, E, B1, B9, B2, B4, B5).
Lamb is well suited for the nutrition of elderly people and children. Mutton contains little of so-called "bad" cholesterol which leads to the disease of atherosclerosis. Lecithin, contained in lamb, is useful for the pancreas and prevents diabetes.
