Vulets are almost the same as cutlets but flat. This recipe is taken from ancient Jewish cookbook and was written in Old Slavonic language.

Ingredients for preparing Vulets:

These uncomplicated cutlets from a small amount of food to feed a large family.

  • 1 kg chopped meat.
  • 1 ea small roll grated.
  • 1/2 c finely chopped onion.
  • 2 ea eggs.
  • Salt.
  • Pepper.


  • Chicken breasts cut into small pieces. Finely chop the onion, parsley and mix with meat. Add the milk, salt, pepper and half a teaspoon of baking soda, vinegar, slaked. Beat the eggs. Stir.
  • Stuffing should stand for 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat a pan of butter and place a tablespoon of minced meat.
  • Fry on both sides.
